Earlier I asked: Where can we get a some of the judging tanks/jars used at the IBC convention shown in the video:
FOUND: Acrylic Display Cases on eBay, about $4 each with the shipping. For example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-6-Clear-Acrylic-Vertical-Plastic-Display-Storage-Cases-Boxes/323502999949?hash=item4b5248098d:g:q48AAOSwHI5bu7wFwhich is from the International Betta Congress Area 1 Convention, in particular the 2018 Male Best of Show Judging.
The fish on this video are displayed and judged in tall tanks/jars. They may be plastic, and seem to have dimensions, oh maybe about 4″ x 4″ x 8″? They look much less expensive than commercial glass tanks. Where do they get them? If you don’t know, perhaps someone knows what they are? Our guesses have ranged from classroom ruler holder, to candy bin. So far no luck searching the web.
Finding enough affordable display tanks for a show is tough. The vessels in this video are flat sided to support flaring, and are easily picked up, turned, and moved during judging.
Closeups of the vessels are here:
