Hello everyone!

My name is Rachael Cummins. I just joined the IBC a few weeks ago and am from the Memphis, TN area. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a local chapter nearby so until I can get enough other people to join and start a chapter in the area, it looks like I will mostly be a lurker and forum stalker while I learn about the hobby.

Although I have kept bettas for years in sororities and as individual pets, I am looking forward to learning as much as possible about the breeding, showing, and conservation aspects of the hobby.

I am very excited to get to know everyone and am eternally grateful to any and all information on how to navigate the site a little better!

P.S. I enrolled for the paper membership and was just wondering what the typical turnaround time for the delivery was on my membership card, books, and Flare issue was. Any info would be appreciated!
