I have some important news to share with our members.

I know if you were like me, you were looking forward to an IBC Convention in Mexico.

Unfortunately there were too many obstacles to overcome, so Mexico has withdrawn their bid. However, we would love to eventually see a full IBC Convention in Mexico, and we hope those challenges will be overcome in the future.

I asked the chapter leaders of various Area 1 clubs with show experience to make a convention possible, and one club has taken on the challenge of bringing the IBC 2018 Convention to life. This year’s Convention will be hosted by Golden State Bettas in Southern California from Thursday, June 21st to Sunday, June 24th. While certain details are still being worked out, we are working together to bring you a top notch convention.
