Nominations are open for the 2020 IBC Elections.

Please send Nominations to Nominations@IBCBettas.org by January 26, 2020. Please check first with the Nominee to confirm they are interested in the position. Their statements will be due by February 16, 2020. Self-Nominations are welcome. Please include a brief supporting statement and the email address of nominee so the committee can communicate with him or her.

The following Executive Board positions are up for election:
3 Members at Large
Area Representatives for Areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 6.
To be nominated for the Executive Board a person must be 18 years old and have been a member of IBC as of January 2020.

The following JB positions are up for election.
3 Judging Board Positions and Judging Board Area Reps from 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7.
To be nominated for the Judging Board a person must be at least 18 years old and have been a Certified Judge for at least 1 year.

Also, any chapter of the Congress desiring to sponsor a convention shall submit its invitation in writing to the Secretary at least ninety (90) days prior to the next convention. (due March 26, 2020 to Secretary@IBCBettas.org) These invitations shall be published in the Mar/Apr/May issue of FLARE!, on the IBC Website and on the ballot. If there is only one (1) site on the ballot, the submitting club will host the next convention.
